Did you see AxonScan in your log files, or do you not want us to scan your domain? Here you can read what the scan does and how to exclude your domain.
Who we are
AxonScan is a service of Axon Factory. A company uses it to get a report on the settings of a domain it is authorised for. Whoever orders confirms that authorisation, and we record that confirmation.
What AxonScan/1.0 does
All our requests carry the User-Agent AxonScan/1.0 (+https://scan.axonfactory.ai/abuse). The scan is passive:
- We only request fixed paths: the home page over http and https with the redirects, /.well-known/security.txt, /robots.txt, at most two links to a privacy page and at most ten scripts linked on the home page.
- Together that is at most 20 HTTP requests, plus loading the home page once in a browser, without clicking or scrolling.
- We never log in, never fill in forms and never try out vulnerabilities.
- A domain is scanned at most once per 24 hours and three times per 30 days.

Exclude your domain
Enter your domain and an email address on that domain. You get a mail with a link; once you use it, we no longer scan the domain, not even when someone orders it. That way nobody can opt out a domain that is not theirs. We only use the address for that one mail.
After your confirmation it takes effect immediately. Does your domain have no email? Then email us.
